Hi, Thank you for getting back to me. To answer your question, I am trying to receive credit for a class that I have already taken at my previous institution that was not awarded to me originally. I have already covered the material in both PHYS 2212 and PHYS 2211 and received an A in both of those courses that were required to transfer to Georgia Tech. However, I believe the misunderstanding lies in the fact that the equivalency table says otherwise. So I am trying to get it updated with this evaluation that was also agreed upon by Dr. Scherbakov.

Are you trying to replace the credit for PHYS 2211 and receive PHYS 2212 instead? The evaluation was denied because you cannot receive both.

Credit for PHYS 2212 cannot be awarded. You have already received credit for PHYS 2211 (4) + PHYS (2) for completion of WPI's PH 1110 + PH 1120.

I emailed both the registrar's office and Dr. Scherbakov, who gave the okay in terms of how this course looks. I was originally not awarded the credits I was supposed to get transferred over for this course, so my academic advisor and the two aforementioned departments also told me to ask for a review of this course since the equivalency table seemed to be a bit outdated. Thank you for taking the time to look over my course. I truly appreciate it!
