Intermediate Spanish I and the name in the syllabus (Spanish 91 (Advanced Hispanic Culture and Oral Expression--CHAEO)) is the same. In addition to what is covered in the syllabus, once a month the class would take an experimental field trip to a Spanish-speaking K-8 school and mentor 1st grade students for an hour, conducted in Spanish. Each Unit took place over an average of 8 weeks, with Unit 5 being completed in the last 2 weeks of the year. Unit 5 was fully covered.
