This course cannot transfer as GT course. The grading policy is very non-rigorous compared to GT MATH courses.

Hi Dr. Chen, Clay has all 4 courses in the sequence listed on the ET for (MA 121 + MA 122) together equal MATH 1551 and (MA 123 + MA 124) together equal MATH 1552. Since the student already received AP credit for MATH 1551, he is asking to have MA 122 & MA 123 evaluated together instead to give him MATH 1552. You have already approved his request to transfer MA 124 as MATH 2550. I hope this explanation helps because it took us a while to figure out how to process the request. I will attach this note to MA 123 and send it back to you so you can review them together.

The provided syllabus is for Fall 2021. The grading policy of the course is far less rigorous than GT calculus courses. Only the final exam is proctored and that is only 30% of the course grade.

I took both MA 123 and MA 124 in Fall of 2020. They're both half semester courses so I took MA 123 in the first half and MAA 124 during the second half of the semester. Also I never actually took MA 122, I got AP credit for that course and the syllabus I submitted was one I got from a professor who taught the cause.

Also I'm aware that MA 122 gives credit for MATH 1551. I also think that my MA 121 Differential Calculus class should give credit for MATH 1551 on its own. I just didn't submit that course for evaluation as I have AP credit for MATH 1551.

I think this course MA 122 along with MA 123 should offer credit for MATH 1552 instead of MA 123 & MA 124 providing credit for MATH 1552 as is the case in the transfer equivalency table.
