Given that this is accepted as a foreign language elective, is there any reason this will not qualify for the Core Area C - Humanities the same as any other foreign language? My reading of the USG Board of Regents handbook is that all foreign language courses fall under the broader Arts, Humanities & Ethics (Humanities) Core IMPACTS area.

I believe this course is consistent with a 1st semester elementary foreign language course as defined in the Board of Regents handbook 2.4.8. See the handbook and Ctrl+F "Foreign Language Courses (Generic specifications)." Please let me know if you need anything more to complete this equivalency. I hope this fulfills credits as part of Core Area C.
