I am afraid this course cannot count for an Englich composition/writing credit. This course is literature centric, which does not involve classes dedicated to the teaching of writing (outlining, researching, source evaluation, multimodal composition, and such topics). I see it as a fit for a Humanities/LMC course.

Dear Evaluator: I am submitting this evaluation request for Emory University's ENG 256W course to determine its eligibility for transfer credit as a substitute for GT's ENGL 1102. Materials submitted includes Combined writing samples (attached as one file) and Spring 2024 syllabus. Regarding the syllabus date: While I have submitted the Spring 2024 syllabus, my professor has confirmed via email (screenshot included at the end of the writing sample file) that the Spring 2025 syllabus remains identical in both reading content and course structure.
