The PHYS 495 research credit I completed at Emory University was conducted under the supervision of Emory physics faculty and was an advanced and independent research experience. The work resulted in three conference presentations and is currently in preparation for submission to a peer-reviewed journal. I believe this aligns closely with the scope of Georgia Tech’s PHYS 4699 rather than a generic PHYS 4XXX elective.
