I could see approving this as a Humanities 1XXX based on the fact that it is arts-related, but it looks like it's already received FREE 1XXX credit.

Furthermore, since photography allows individuals to capture stories and images that are "real", it is equivalent to telling a story through a different means, which is the basis on which a large portion of the humanities stand. Since it can genuinely change people's human consciousness, photography inherently contains humanism. Additionally, in places like art galleries or museums, photographs are hung alongside other mediums of art like sculptures or paintings, which is further evidence that they are representative of the same central idea.

Since photography is widely regarded as a form of humanities in the fact that it allows people to express their stories in a certain way and creates works that are open to interpretation, I was hoping that Georgia Tech could accept this photography class as Humanities elective credit.
