GA Southern said that some additional topics are covered since the professor for the course has changed. Prof Yao Xu (the professor that will be teaching the course in summer) provided a list of additional topics that will also be covered in the course. Kindly let me know if you need anything else.

I have contacted GA Southern to confirm. I believe the "string matching" topic mentioned in the syllabus document does also involve pattern matching since the concepts are usually taught adjacent to each other. My advisor said that the course has been approved according to the transfer credit table and this submission is primarily just to double-check that the credit will transfer, so I assume that it does likely include both concepts you mentioned.

Note for student: Can you provide documentation that dynamic programming and pattern matching are covered in the class? Seems to be missing some topics to be considered for CS 1332.
