Good Afternoon Mr Andrews, I am the Academic Advising Manager for the School of Industrial Design and this evaluation was submitted to me by the Registrar's Office. I have no authority to review this equivalency as an ME course for the ME School (thus if you were considering this as an equal to ME 1670 Intro to Engr Graphics - this is outside of my purview) But this course is a close enough to an Industrial Design elective course number ID 3104. This would apply as a free elective in your BSME curriculum. I wish you the best as you start your Georgia Tech career.

Weekley Course schedule is included as a seperate .pdf file, as this is how it was presented to students by the professor. While the course is simply titled CAD, from the mouth of the professor it is much more than that. This is the first design course taken by Mechanical Engineers at the University of Delaware and while covering Solidworks part design and assemblies, the course also teaches mechanical drawing, the engineering design process as an individual and as a group, general information regarding materials, fasteners & adheasives, and design validation. At the same time of all this CAD and subject learning, students conduct multiple small individual projects while also working on a longer semester project. This semester project is done in a group of 3 and goes through every phase of the engineering design process. If requested, I am more than willing to attach the final report my team made, but with the schedule as a seperate .pdf I currently cannot.
