We teach our CAD course with Solidworks, where this student learned with Autocad. This could create challenges for the student when they take follow-on classes that require group work in SolidWorks. There also does not appear to be nearly the same amount of project work as in ME 1670. If the students wants to submit a portfolio of their work in this class, I can send it on to the instructor to reconsider.

Engineering Technologies head at Rowan-Cabarrus sent over the syllabus, stating "We use the same template every semester for DFT-151, we just update the section number and date. This is the same template we used for section 802N in 2021." Can give contact information if further inquiry is needed.
