I’m comfortable with going ahead and granting equivalence to CHEM 1211K (not 1310) if the student takes either lab course: CHM 1045L at Palm Beach State College or Broward College - Michael Evans

Lecture-only chemistry courses are not equivalent to any First-year Chemistry course at Georgia Tech, because the latter include a laboratory component. Equivalence to CHEM 1310 would require taking an intro chemistry laboratory course as well.

I got the syllabus online and it wasn't the correct syllabus. I emailed my professor and got the proper syllabus for the class which shows that this is a 4 credit hour chemistry class.

Please upload/resubmit and return to R1 a response to this inquiry from the department - "This course would be equivalent to CHEM 1310 with a general chemistry laboratory course or component, but the syllabus doesn't mention one. Please include the syllabus for an accompanying lab or separate course that was also taken to ensure equivalency with 1310. "

CHS 1440 counts for CHEM 1310 on the table but CHS 1440C says it needs department evaluation.
