Hi I just noticed the Chemistry credit was entered as a Chem 1xxx credit instead of a Chem 1310 or 1211K equivalent and it says because the labs were completed at home. The lab was delivered in person, and it covered the same experiments, safety training like wearing lab coats and goggles, data analysis, and write-ups as an in-person lab. The syllabus even lists techniques (e.g. titrations, calorimetry) identical to GT’s CHEM 1211K. Both Syllabuses match completely so I believe it should count as a Chem 1211K credit. Also, before I decided to take the course I checked the transfer credit equivalency table and I saw that the Chem 1 at scott cmty college has never been attempted to transfer at Georgia Tech but I also saw that the Chem 2 at scott cmty college actually was transferred to the Chem 1212K course at Georgia Tech so I assumed the Chem 1 would transfer too based on how they're derived from the prerequisites. If this Chem 1 class could be re-evaluated that'll be greatly appreciated!

Please upload/resubmit and return to Registrar (R1) a response to this inquiry from the department - "It's not clear whether laboratory experiments occurred on campus, and what topics were covered. I'll need a list of topics covered and experiments performed in order to evaluate. If labs were completed at home or were fully electronic, equivalence will be CHEM 1XXX (4.0 credits). "
