The AP Computer Science A – Data Structures (CMP4502) course I completed is highly aligned with Georgia Tech’s CS 1331: Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming. The course focused heavily on Java programming, object-oriented programming concepts (such as classes, inheritance, and interfaces), and the use of core data structures like linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, maps, and sets. Additionally, the course emphasized algorithm development, recursion, and software design principles, which match the foundational skills taught in CS 1331. Therefore, my coursework provides the necessary background and preparation for credit in CS 1331 at Georgia Tech.
