To Whom It May Concern, This is a special case regarding my independent study courses, MATH 4801 and MATH 4802, taken at Kean University. Although listed separately, they together represent a single 3-credit course—MATH 4801 accounts for 1 credit, and MATH 4802 for 2 credits. Since Spring 2022, Kean has not offered the standard Complex Variables course, as shown on the third-party website: https://www.coursicle.com/kean/courses/MATH/4465/. Recognizing the importance of this subject, I reached out to Dr. Raymond Viglione, who kindly agreed to supervise me through an independent study on this topic. Because this was an independent study, there was no standard syllabus. However, I have attached the syllabus from the most recently offered Complex Variables course at Kean for reference. The “Course Document” I uploaded serves as confirmation that this independent study is equivalent to MATH 4465 at Kean. I sincerely hope this special case can be considered transferable. If not, I fully understand and am willing to take the Complex Variables course at Georgia Tech if needed. Thank you for your time and consideration.
