Note for Registrar: CSE 2050 (3) + CSE 3500 from UCONN = CS 1332. Must have both classes. Student does have CSE 3500 from UCONN so in this instance can give CS 1332 credit for CSE 2050.

I am requesting credit for CS 1332 based on CSE 2050 (Data Structures & Object-Oriented Programming) at the University of Connecticut, where I earned an A. This course covered all foundational topics in CS 1332, including recursion, ADTs, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, heaps, and sorting algorithms. The course emphasized implementation in Python and object-oriented design principles. Additionally, I’ve attached the syllabus for CSE 3500 (Algorithms and Complexity), a more advanced course I completed with an A as well. It builds on CSE 2050 with deeper algorithmic analysis, graph algorithms (DFS, BFS, MST, Dijkstra), runtime complexity, and problem-solving strategies. While I understand that CS 1332 is taught in Java, I believe the combined rigor and breadth of these courses—especially the core data structures and algorithmic focus—align well with CS 1332’s learning outcomes. I respectfully request your consideration for transfer credit.
