Note for student: Once you drop CS 1301 in Phase II, then your CS 1301 credit from Univ Illinois Urbana-Champaign will apply properly. It is not correct in degreeworks because the system thinks you are registered for a duplicate course. After you drop CS 1301 in Phase II, and if it still does not look correct, please let me know.

Ok. I understand. Regarding the credit, I see in my degreeworks that CS 1301 is now marked as insufficient. Although it also says that 3 credits were applied. What does this mean?

CS 124 can count as CS 1301 if CS 124 is not taught in java. If want potential CS 1331 credit can also take the CS 1331 advanced standing exam.

After learning that I needed to submit a more detailed weekly schedule for CS 124, I reached out to the professor via email. However, it's been eight days, and I have not yet received a response. In the meantime, I uploaded the weekly schedule from the summer semester of the course. I should note, though, that when I took CS 124 in Fall 2023, we covered significantly more material than what is reflected in the summer schedule. As shown in the syllabus, the fall semester included two additional quizzes and a greater number of daily lessons. If any additional information is needed, I’d be grateful for the opportunity to resubmit once I hear back from the professor.

I’m requesting credit for CS 1301 based on CS 124 and CS 128 (Introduction to Computer Science II, 3 credits), which I completed with A grades at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I’ve attached the CS 128 syllabus and hope these courses together meet the requirements for CS 1301 at Georgia Tech.
