Dear registrar, Richland College is part of the DCCCD, which is now renamed as Dallas College. COSC 1437 is the second course in the Programming Fundamentals sequence that uses the Java programming language for object-oriented programming. When I compare the course description, I see that CS1331 Intro-Object Orient Prog at GT is what I already learned in COSC 1437. COSC1437 Course Description: This course focuses on the object-oriented programming paradigm, emphasizing the definition and use of classes along with fundamentals of object-oriented design. The course includes basic analysis of algorithms, searching and sorting techniques, and an introduction to software engineering processes. Students will apply techniques for testing and debugging software. (This course is included in the Field of Study Curriculum for Computer Science.) Coordinating Board Academic Approval Number 1102015607
