This course (CHEM 1220 – General Chemistry II) includes both lecture and laboratory components under a single course registration, as confirmed in the syllabus. Laboratory work is integrated weekly and contributes 25% to the final course grade. The syllabus shows strong alignment with Georgia Tech’s CHEM 1212K, covering key topics such as kinetics, equilibrium, acids/bases, entropy, Gibbs free energy, and redox reactions, with accompanying hands-on labs (e.g., titrations, equilibrium, electrochemistry, and colligative properties).
