After every media sample (chapter reading, documentary, speech), students were expected to write a 300-400 word essay critiquing the argument or message proposed by the source and analyzing the rhetorical principles used by the source’s author to display the argument. The final project was a multimodal presentation synthesizing various themes discussed in class.
