This course is equivalent to LING 2100 and 3100 at GaTech and I was hoping to get my humanities credit from this class? Thanks for considering my request. The courses are equivalent because in the course I took, not only did we cover various fields in linguistics, but the same textbooks are used to teach the class. And in the course I took, we apply the fields of linguistics into the real world, were we had to complete essay assignments and a final project that reflected linguistics in a topic or area that interested you, like politics, education, movies/film (we did a unit on linguistics in Disney movies), and more!
